Mr. Xu Lejiang visited the site of cold rolling
On July 4 & 5, 2015,Mr. Xu Lejiang (Board Chairman of Baosteel Group) visited the coking & gas-refining project and cold rolling project constructed by MCC5 in Baosteel Zhanjiang Steel. Mr. Zhao Zhouli (Board Chairman of Zhanjiang Steel), Mr. Liu Daide (Vice General Commander of Zhangjiang Steel Engineering Commanding Department) and the relative leaders of MCC5 Group Shanghai Corp. Ltd. accompanied him for the visit.
On the afternoon of July 4, Mr. Xu Lejiang came to the site of coking & gas-refining project and investigated 1B coke oven which is near to be put into production. Mr. Xu Lejiang was satisfied with MCC5’s work. He kindly shook hands with MCC5’s site personnel and said to them: “Thanks for your hard work”. He particularly pointed out that the hard work of MCC5’s site personnel during the Spring Festival had guaranteed the milestones of the project and he spoke highly of the good organization and construction of MCC5.From the first piling on November 29, 2013 to the dry-out of 1B coke oven on April, 2, 2015. MCC5’s personnel had carried forward MCC spirit of “No delay everyday, no slack everyday” and had overcome many difficulties. It took MCC5 one and half year to build a world first-class excellent project. At present time, 1B coke oven and the auxiliary gas refining system are ready for production and will be put into production soon according to the arrangement of the Owner. It has laid a solid foundation to guarantee the production of “15.9” 1# blast furnace.
On the morning of July 5, Mr. Xu Lejiang came to the site of Zhanjiang Steel 2030mm Cold Rolling Project. He investigated the annealing line and hot galvanizing line. He kindly shook hands with MCC5’s site personnel and spoke highly of the good quality of steel structure of cold rolling project. He hoped that MCC5 will do a better job on the basis of Zhanjiang Steel 1550mm Cold Rolling Project.
