During training
From July 17 to 18，Technology Department and Human Resource Department of MCC5 Group Shanghai Corp. Ltd. jointly organizedthe training of construction technologies and management for high-rise steel structure buildings. There are totally 80 persons participating in the training. They are chief engineers of branch companies and technicians from project departments.
This training was lectured by Mr. He Mingxuan (Vice Chairman of China Steel Structure Association and one member of Experts Committee of China Steel Structure Association). He gave a detailed introduction in the following seven aspects: Briefing of China Steel Structure Association, 2014 National Policy for Steel Structures of Buildings, steel material and steel structures, construction technologies of steel structures of high-rise buildings, seismic energy dissipation of building structures, mandatory provisions for structural steel projects, and application of BIM software in the steel structure fabrication. He also showed some actual examples of high-rise steel structure buildings to combine the theory with practice and make the training more lively and interesting. The high-rise steel structure buildings will be more and more popular in the future. It is predicted that the 21st century will be a century of metal structures. Compared with the traditional brick-concrete structure buildings, the steel structure buildings have the obvious advantages in the environmental protection, energy-saving, high-efficiency and industrialized fabrication, etc. Shanghai Center (632m high in Pudong, Shanghai), Ping An Building (600m high in Shenchen), Jiang Guang Center, Birds’ Nest Stadium, CCTV new office building and National Aquatics Center in Beijing have all adopted steel structures. This training is aimed to grasp the technologies, cultivate professional technicians, and accumulate power for the construction of high-rise steel structure buildings.
