On July 19，1A Coke Oven of Baosteel Zhanjiang Steel Coking Project constructed by MCC5 formally started the ignition for dry-out. This ignition indicated the completion of another important milestone after the hot load test-run of 1B coke oven.
Baosteel Zhanjiang Steel Coking and Gas Refining Project was located in Zhangjiang Steel Plant at Donghai Island, Zhanjiang City. It is designed to produce about 3.4 million ton dry coke per year. It adopts 4×65 ports JNX2-70-2 Type reheating type 1A,1B,2A,2B top-charging coke ovens. It is mated with 4×140t/h coke dry quenching facilities and 2×30MW steam turbine generator line.
