On October 30，1A Coke Oven of Coking Project of Baosteel Zhanjiang Steel was successfully put into production. It was constructed by MCC5 Group Shanghai Corp. Ltd.
The Coking Project of Baosteel Zhanjiang Steel is located in Donghai Island, Zhanjiang City. The annual production capacity is designed to be about 3,400,000t dry coke. There are 4×65 ports NX2-70-2 reheating and top-charging (1A,1B, 2A, 2B) coke ovens, mating with 4×140t/h CDQ facilities and 2×30MW extraction condensing steam turbine generator set. Up to now, 1A and 1B coke ovens have already been put into production. The remaining 2A and 2B coke ovens will be put into production separately on April and July of 2016.
