Signing Ceremony
Representatives of Both Parties
On the evening of December 14（Germany local time: the morning of December 14）, at the Headquarters of TKIS, MCC5 sign the Letter of Intent with the Cement Department of TKIS for General Contracting of construction of Saudi YAMAMA Cement Plant Project. This is the biggest overseas industrial project contract order signed by our company up to now and it has opened a new chapter for our company’s overseas marketing. The Chinese representatives to attend the signing ceremony are：Mr. Li Shiyu (China MCC Supervisory Board Chairman), Mr. Cheng Bingqiang (Board Chairman of China MCC5 Group Corp. Ltd.) , Mr. Huang Dege (Vice General Manager of China MCC5 Group Corp. Ltd.), Mr. Zhang Zhan ( Manager of MCC Saudi Branch Company), etc.；The German representatives to attend the signing ceremony are: Mr. Lothar Jungemann (CEO of TKIS)，Mr. Hubertus Jakobi (Director of TKIS Workshop Design & Build Department), Mr. Christian Adams (Director of Erection & Commissioning Department), Mr. Jurgen Dietrich ( Project Manager of YAMAMA Project EPC Contracting),etc.
In the signing ceremony, Mr. Lothar Jungemann (CEO of TKIS Cement Department) welcomed the leaders of MCC and MCC5. He introduced about the development history, business structure and overseas marketing of TKIS. He spoke highly of previous pleasant cooperation with MCC and was confident about the successful cooperation between both parties for YAMAMA Project. Mr. Cheng Bingqiang (Board Chairman of China MCC5 Group Corp. Ltd.) introduced about the business structure, overseas marketing and competition advantages of MCC and MCC5，and expressed MCC5’s determination to guarantee the successful execution of YAMAMA Project.
After the signing ceremony, the leaders of both parties talked about how to strengthen the strategic partnership between MCC5 and TKIS and expressed their wish to establish long-term strategic partnership.
YAMAMA Cement Plant Project was founded in 1961. It is the second biggest cement plant in Saudi. The annual output is 6,300,000t. In consideration of environmental protection, this cement plant will be moved from Riyadh to Jiddan (80km in the east of Riyah). This project consists of two newly-built 10000t/day clinker cement production lines. The construction scope includes the civil work, steel structure fabrication and erection, M & E equipment fabrication & erection, pipeline erection, refractory work, insulation work, roads within the plant, etc. This project is predicted to be commenced on February, 2016. The total construction period is 32 months. The General Contractor of this project is TKIS (ThyssenKrupp Industrial Solutions).
